What to Expect During A Consultation
During a consultation, I will take a complete case from the patient. This includes the main complaint of the patient as well as a general overview of all the body systems, including mental and emotional aspects of the case. This allows me to be able to identify the areas of the mind and body that need focus, treatment or further testing to be conducted. This is followed by a medical and family case history. After this a physical medical examination is conducted to assist in the assessment. This may then be followed up by other necessary tests. A follow up consultation is usually required after a 1 to 4 week period depending on the case.

Online Consultations
Online consultations are also available during the above working hours and are conducted via an online platform called Doxy. Once the consultation has been confirmed you will be sent a link to join the consultation at the appointed time.
Consultation fees and medication
An initial consult is 60-90 minutes for chronic cases and 30 minutes for acute cases.
Please contact the practice for consultation fees and queries. Medications are charged separately to the consultation fee.
The practice accepts cash and debit/credit cards.
Medical Aid claims are to be submitted by the patient to their relative medical aid and reimbursements will depend on their medical aid scheme.
