Biopuncture with
Homeopathic Medicine
What Is Biopuncture?
Biopuncture is a process whereby homeopathic medicines are injected into certain points of the body. Biopuncture works on a similar theory as homeopathic medicine. Both ways of treatment introduce a dilute therapeutic medicine into the body in order to stimulate the body to heal itself. Biopuncture is introduced into localized areas in order to heal local tissue, stimulate normal physiological processes, increase lymphatic drainage and eliminate toxins.
Where Are The Injections Administered?
The area in which the injections are administered depends on what condition or ailment is being treated. The depth of the injection may also vary and is usually injected into the subcutaneous tissue (just under the skin) or into the muscle, depending on the condition being treated.
Is Biopuncture Painful?
Some patents may find mild discomfort during a biopuncture session but for the majority of patients there is relatively no pain involved.
What Ailments Can Biopuncture Treat?
Biopuncture has been found to be effective in the following musculoskeletal conditions:
Arthritis
Muscle strains
Ligament sprains
Frozen shoulder
Shin splints
Neck pain
Back pain
Sciatica
Degenerative joint disorders
Tennis elbow
Biopuncture has been found to aid in the treatment of the following conditions:
Asthma
Eczema
Sinusitis
Headaches/Migraines
Gastritis and Stomach ulcers
Fibromyalgia
IBS
Crohn’s disease/ Ulcerative Colitis
Menstrual pain
Endometriosis and PCOS
Liver and Kidney detoxification
Lymphatic drainage
How Does Biopuncture Differ From Conventional Therapy?
Biopuncture differs from conventional treatment of pain as it introduces dilute amounts of homeopathic and botanical medication into the body, whereas conventional medicine introduces high doses of pharmaceuticals. The conventional treatment of pain works by inhibiting pain receptors or enzymes controlling inflammation in the body thereby making the patient feel better. However, this may not heal the area being treated but only manage the pain and once the medication has worn off the pain will then return.
How Long Does Biopuncture Take To Work?
With biopuncture the patient may need several sessions of injections as the medicine is not inhibiting the pain receptors, but normalising the physiological functions in the body so that it may heal itself. Relief may be immediate or occur only after a few weeks, however the effects can last several months and often bring permanent relief.
Is Biopuncture Safe?
Biopuncture is a safe and effective form of treatment with limited side effects which may include redness, itching and swelling of the areas where injections have been administered.
